Michelle Noonan is an associate of the firm. She practises intellectual property law with a particular focus on litigation and trademark protection.
Michelle practices in various areas of intellectual property law, including trademark prosecution and litigation relating to patents, trademarks, and copyright. She has assisted with proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board, and proceedings before the Ontario and Federal Courts. Michelle also advises clients on clearance, filing, prosecution, opposition and enforcement of intellectual property rights, with an emphasis on trademarks. She is a registered Canadian trademark agent.
Michelle joined DWW as a summer student in 2017 and completed her articles with the firm in 2019. Before law school, Michelle obtained her Master of Science in physiology and pharmacology. Her graduate research focused on a cell signalling pathway involved in breast cancer metastasis.
