Industry Canada, in conjunction with its provincial counterparts, has issued a
consultation paper on the possible harmonisation of jurisdictional issues surrounding E-commerce transactions. The paper provides a detailed review of the regional differences within Canada and Europe on this issue and discusses the implications of the Hague and Rome treaties. Comments on the paper will be accepted until September 6, 2002.
